NEWS:

1. Hey, I just found out that the song "Airport Blues" from my "Meltdown" CD just won the Special song category in the Great American Song Contest! The GASC was nice enough to present me with its Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Award plus add me to its songwriting Hall of Fame. If you've ever been stuck in an airport, flight delayed, nerves frayed, kids dazed ... you know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Take a listen on my Song Samples page!!

2. I'm proud to release for the first time to the public some of the songs I wrote for the Songs of Love Foundation. The SOL Foundation takes requests for personalized songs from parents of seriously ill children. We then write & record a song using the child's name and all the details of his or her little life. It's an incredibly moving opportunity, and I'm so honored to be a part of it. My volunteer engineer/studio owner/random musical parts guy is Pablo Manzarek. Pablo's Dad, Ray, was the keyboard player for The Doors.
